If he's won an Olympic medal that means he was probably fighting better opponents as an amateur than he has as a pro.

MArk Breland? I didn't even know. When you have a talented but frail amatuer stand out trying to learn how to protect his chin in the pro ranks, why would you train him with a talented but frail amatuer stand out who never learned to protect his chin the pro ranks?

Much better opponents... I bet half the guys he beat as a pro never even had an amateur career, and if the had they wouldn't in a million years have even made it to the Olympics.
I wouldn't even be surprised if some of those cans haven't seen the inside of a gym in months.

Well, looks like Deontay averted this threat with a first round KO.

Well and good, but its time to stop picking on bums.

Tor Hammer beat upset artist demitrice King, by the by.

A young raw heavyweight with less than 20 fights is allowed to fight some tomato cans. It is not that big of a deal. He can ruin his career in one night.

There are cans and there are cans. The five levels of can:

    1. Journeymen/Sparring partner
    2. Cab driver/Hell's Angel/Soccor Hooligan
    3. Zombies
    4. Crash Test dummies
    5. Deontay Wilder's opponents.

See, people think what Pacquiao is doing is impressive - this guy beat someone nearly TWICE his own weight. Obviously he deserves to start going on pound for pound lists.
