Right that's why Wilder's team have gone to such lengths to keep the video off youtube or anywhere else.

I usually just troll but time to be serious, yes I have been in the ring as a am, never had a pro fight but I'm barely an adult so maybe someday I will I'm not sure.

In my 21st am fight I didn't fight a 2 weight class smaller than me fighter who has been retired for 5 years and retired after losing his last 5 fights

To say this guy is the future champ is a joke, right now he's the "Olympic medal" version of Kimbo, if he proves me wrong then good I'm not a hater but his career so far is laughable

Good point. Im not throwing him under the bus just yet. He's relatively young compared to typical progression in this era and so long as he doesn't go backwards due to poor mgmt I'll be happy to follow his progress.

Nagy Aguilera would be a good test. As would Sherwin Williams.

Hell, he could get Mo Harris who could give him some rds, and he'd likely be able to rob him if it went to the cards.

You guys all just wanna see somebody with potentially half a chance fight one of the K brothers. Fair enough, but be realistic.

Wilder has to develop his career at his own pace. He's not boxed long, and all of a sudden he should be thrown in to fight better opposition?

Take a look at Wlad's fight record. He took 36 fights before he fought for and won a title (WBO.) This was AFTER an amateur career.

But after 21 fights, and no amateur career, people expect Wilder to be fighting journeymen and contenders?

No chance in hell. He needs time to develop, and we need to get used to that fact.

Wlad fought for the WBC Int title in his 19th fight. He was in his 3rd yr as a pro and was fighting nearly monthly.

Nobody here I think is expecting Wilder to be the next Klitschko, or to be challenging the Klitschkos or expecting him to be in line for a world title now.

Were not asking for him to be thrown "all of the sudden" into the deep end, but he's been a pro for 4 years now and hasn't even faced a live body. It's not unreasonable to ask that he step up and face someone that can punch back and take him some rounds.

Wlad's earlier opposition was far superior to Wilder's.

Wilder is a glass-jawed fraud. If you want a slick African-American with a huge undefeated record, forget Wilder. 33-0 OG Malik Scott is where it's at.

I'm not comparing opposition, But I'm saying that he's just not there yet in terms of his development.

There's no doubt that sooner or later, he will step it up (I hope so, anyways).

But people aren't taking into consideration that there are reasons why he's fighting who he's fighting. Maybe his fundamentals aren't right? Perhaps his team see weaknesses he needs to deal with. Or maybe he just doesn't have it?

He fought 6 times in 2011, and this will be his 3rd fight in 2012. Regardless of quality, it's clear that this is all about experience at the moment, before he makes the step up.

He's fighting who he's fighting because 1. His chin is glass and 2. GBP wants to have him pad up a record with a lot of KO's so they can sell him out later.

Yes he needs experience, no doubt about that. If he needs work on his fundamentals as you say, he would be better served by fighting someone that can take him 6-8 rounds, someone durable enough not to collapse as soon as he touches them and can actually make him implement a defense and work on other punches. So far he just shows off the right hand becuase he hasn't needed anything else. But fighting corpses that only hang in there for 1-3 rounds doesn't teach him much. If he stepped it up, maybe the KO numbers go down, but he would gain much more actually being tested.
