That’s not true, most people think Wilder ducked Whyte.

Not saying Whyte would win, but it was a tough fight, something Wilder avoids, and he did not want to face Whyte.

Whyte has respect? It only comes from his UK fans. He's always been trash. His next fight is trash. He's trash.

 

That comes down to opinion. You either think that he fights decent comp or he doesn't.

had this convo with someone else and you cant compare prices because economies are different in both countries... spending power is different... inflation... salaries... disposable income etc...

you seriously think that Wilder vs Ortiz wouldn't sell more if they lowered their PPV fee to $20 or $15? Spending power is not different, median household income in UK is about the same as in U.S.

 

In the USA I imagine it would sell more, but comparing the 80 dollar figure to the UK PPV figure of 20 pounds and claiming its easier in UK to shift tickets as a result of the lower numerical figure is ABSURD and not a direct comparison given the disparity of economics between both nations.

 

Thought Wilder's spiky jewelled outfit would be a big seller too. Oh well.

$80 is equal to about £62.

How many British PPV boxing cards are £62? Is the Joshua-Ruiz II card worth every penny of £62 on PPV?
