only major factor between US and UK ppv, is that US ppv is a model that has been around since the early 90s, almost 30 years... PPV in UK is relatively new from what I understand. thats really the only major factor. do u live in UK? is the economy really that bad out there now?

Actually, the value of the British Pound has varied over the years.

So he wasn’t offered a final eliminator against Ortiz for the mandatory spot? I may be wrong, but I thought I read that, did I not?

So that time they super duper pinky promise no take backsies meant it? :meparto:

Ortiz got the fight twice because he ended up under Haymon. Not because of anything the WBC did for him.

I might ask you something though - why do you think team Wilder chose to freeze Whyte out in a money fight in which their guy would be massively favoured to score a huge highlight reel KO? It's mind bubbling.

butting into the conversation here but Ortiz never fought an eliminator for a shot at the champ he got hand picked twice out of 15 potential candidates

You know what's funny? The offer jumped from 12.5 mil to 100 mil. How in the hell did that happen?

You're arguing with guys who think that Wilder is ducking Whyte. They even know that he isn't, but they have to say it.

They wanted over $70 for the WIlder vs. Ortiz 2 fight. They were out of their damn mind it they thought people would pay that price for WIlder. I could see $20 at the most but once I seen the price I laughed and said no way.
