    why would his resume get a boost because of his opponents improving or doing good things in future fights? margarito knocked out sergio martinez and that never gets mentioned

    Because Sergio was a baby and a Boxing novice, that's like making Medgoen Singsurat and Rustico Torrecampo into ATG's because they KO'd Pacquiao when he wasn't worth a damn.

    the same concept is applied to wilder's resume being boosted because of his past opponents doing good in latter fights.. that's like saying torrecampo is an ATG because he knocked out the great manny pacquiao.

    Helenius wasn't past it, he looked pretty good beating down Rill and the fact that Duhaupas KO'd him is even more impressive, in theory if Duhaupas was as bad as many of you seem to want to think he is, he shouldn't have had any chance even a shot Helenius. As far as any comparison goes Margarito was too much for a prospect like Maravilla at the time, not applicable.

    As far as the Molina KO win over Adamek, Adamek is shot to hell so that one doesn't impress me all that much.

    Duhaupas couldnt put away Nascimento in his previous fight, the notion he is anything but fodder at the top level is laughable. I think he would go life and death with Charles Martin albeit.
