A certain overhyped former cruiserweight one from London, who's having a rematch with one of his countrymen at the 17th of December.

HW fighters get dropped, that's the nature of the division.
Most of these guys are at least moderate hitters and the
force of 200+ pounds ramming into your skull is significant.
I really hate when trolls make me have to defend Wilder.

it was clearly the fight in which Wilders handlers then thought oh..err ah, we best tread very carefully here and match him very lightly till we can ca$h out........

and so the story went on from that day, and still is doing.......

It's on Boxrec saying Sconiers dropped Wilder. His trainer does not need to say a word, it is there in black and white for the world to see.

"Sconiers was one of the biggest punchers in the HW division, Vitali would have been knocked out by that shot"

Wilder has fought nothing but tomato cans, washed up never-wases like Fraudley, or mediocre journeyman types like Molina, Szpilka, Scott, etc. etc. etc. And yet, guys like this have had him on the canvas.

Sconiers wouldn't be relevant if Wilder had fought some decent comp and remained vertical. But he hasn't. He continues to fight nobodies to protect his suspect chin and create this illusion he has "power."

Wilder is the biggest con-game going in boxing today, and he deserves every last bit of the criticism he gets for it!

I think you may have me confused as someone who likes Wilder. I'm highly critical
of him, my post was solely pointing to the position of a HW being dropped. In the HW division,
more than any other division in boxing, a fighter is in at least moderate danger of getting
clipped and dropped or stopped by someone that by no means is elite or even
necessarily on another boxer's level because power, size and brute force is something the majority of fighters have in abundance. Even "light" hitting HWs have at least "some" power. Monet Barrett for example.
By no means a power puncher evolved into a pseudo puncher and hurt a lot of guys, ex. undefeated Mesi,
stopped a still fresh Owen Beck. Hell he hurt stone chinned Dominick Guinn, and dropped ****in David
Tua! Again, I don't think Wilder's chin is stone or even very good, but him getting dropped earlier in his
career is not the issue you guys make it to be because he's stood up to harder shots since then.
