Deontay would knock Takam out in less than 2 rounds in my estimation

I see Takam pawing him with good jabs but Deontay finding the opening that he needs and nailing Takam with a straight right hand. Takam slumps into the canvas! :deal

    KO2 :thumbsup

Takam doesn't look dangerous, what is he doing in the top 10?

Takam took Povetkin deep, so it's a good fight to see where Wilder is at before he fights Sasha.
Takam is streets ahead of Duhahpas and Molina, so I would be impressed if MVC's prediction is correct.
Please don't let it be Fujimoto. There's just no way to sell that fight.
Adamek appearing in the top 15 stinks

Like Molina and Duhaupas???? Wilder wouldn't fight Takam anyways so we'll never know. Unknown inside of the states, and stylistically a bad match up for Wilder.

Watch his fights with Povetkin, Perez, and Thompson and you'll see why.

No, stylistically he actually plays right into Wilder's hands.

How so? He'll be inside of Wilders reach taking the fight to him... Even though he isn't the biggest of punchers I could easily see him landing some shots while in close that would hurt Wilder. With his stamina, volume, and tendency to work in close I see him causing a lot of problems for Wilder.

You are just assuming he can get inside Wilder's jab. Don't think he has that kind of speed. Like all pressure fighters several inches shorter, he'd eat a lot more leather than he could give. Unless he could take Wilder out quick, after awhile he'd start to fade from the punishment he'd take getting busted up on the way in.

Pressure fighters are just not often good against punchers, particularly when the punchers are taller and have bigger reach. Its just not a good matchup for them.

I honestly think to beat Wilder is going to take someone skilled with similar reach and some power. Someone like Anthony Joshua. A shorter fighter may only have a puncher's chance against him.

What makes you think Wilders jab is that good???

Duhaupas a euro level heavyweight was making Wilder miss clumsily all night, Takam could do the same and get inside without being hit.

There's nothing to suggest Wilder is that good, from everything we've seen of him he's obviously very beatable. Just because Molina and Duhaupas failed doesn't mean it can't be done.

I see Takam lumping Wilder up before stopping him late.

Making him miss clumsily all night? I don't know what fight you watched, he butchered that guy. He landed 56% of his punches, yeah he missed a lot. :rofl And that's with Duhaupus rarely letting his hands go, like Stiverne.

Takam would probably be a lot more aggressive and probably get tagged even more.

I'm not saying Wilder is unbeatable, just don't see Takam doing it.
