Good points. Only thing I'd add is that it makes alot of sense for Wilder to be reasonable with purse demands. He's got two ways of forcing a close to 50/50 purse for a unification fight against AJ. A. The right way, by taking a tough fight against Parker/Hughie, and therefore getting two belts. Or B. Making himself a much bigger ppv draw in GB. He can do that by fighting Bellew, who would be a vastly easier win than WBO belt holder.
Shocking if this happens. Bellew beat a very injured David Haye but he still isnt a heavyweight. Or have the WBC ranked him as the 15th most dangerous heavyweight in thier eyes?
A trip to the UK and a free payday, why not? Should be clear Bellew cannot hang with a legitimate top ten heavyweight. Much rather Wilder stop wasting time and get one of the other titleist in the ring.
I don't like Wilder but to be honest I don't mind this fight. It would create some hype for Wilder in the UK and for the eventual match with Anthony Joshua which would be absolutely huge and great for boxing. Wilder vs Bellew will probably be a ridiculously fun fight too.
bellew was hard to hit v haye / boxed smart / but was still losing until the 6th round. saw a photo of joshua and bellew together after the fight and joshua dwarfed him / and wildwer is even taller and longer than joshua albeit not as bulky. but bellew surprised me he was doing ok even before haye got injured / and deontay would find him hard to hit clean with power shots /would need to box conservativley and box behind the jab / his wild round the houses punchs bellew is to smart to get caught with.
Why not just concentrate on the Fight he should be targeting next, the winner of AJ V VK instead of a Cruiser-weight?
Bellew and Haye should be nowhere near the world's top 15 at heavyweight. They would be fortunate to pick up the British heavyweight title. *Haye's done nothing since 2012. *Bellew's had one fight at heavyweight. He beat the guy who's done nothing since 2012. They are absolutely mediocre and for that reason Wilder probably will fight both of them.
Glass jawed cruiser Bellew would fit in perfectly with the rest of the set-up fights Wilder's had. The con-game continues....
