Who you got in this one? And this could very well be a fight that could happen next. If i'm team Daniel i will push for that one.
Prime for prime, Wilder. Now, I still lean towards Wilder but Dubois is a dangerous heavy handed guy.
You can't compare Prime to Prime, as this is some fantasy b.c-ing on next level. Dubois is 25-26 years old, do you even think he has reach his peak yet? He absolutely is not. And tell me buddy, as you is one of the reasonable posters on here, where exactly was that Wilder mythical Prime? I want to hear that from all the Wlder crybabies that try to bring all the silly excuses for him. When was that mythical Wilder prime, so i can shatter that argument for good. This content is protected While movement around the ring and speed looks exactly the same as always was. Same for his punch resistance. Hell he even took some big bombs off Parker and didn't go down. He was always shaky when he was hit by anyone to be really.
Wilder has at his peak between the first Ortiz fight and final Fury fight. Those were his best years - I don’t think he’s as good today but I don’t think he’s nearly as cooked as some people are trying to make out. Sure Dubois is still young but based on what we’ve seen from him and Wilder over their respective careers, I have to lean towards Wilder. With massive punchers you can never be certain. Again, I am not making excuses for him. I’ve been on here destroying the many fanboy arguments claiming Wilder has a better resume than Joshua, is an ATG, would beat Klitschko, that Ortiz was the best guy in the division in 2018 etc. I just don’t think you can go through the hell he did against Fury and be the same guy. Likewise I don’t think Parker was completely unaffected by the brutal KO defeat to Joyce.
So he was Prime, when he was outboxed by a f**** Artur Szpilka for 9 rounds, before the KO? Or by 40 years old totally unproved piece of garbage Ortiz for 10 rounds and needs a referee help and plenty of rabbit punches to win that one as well? Or he was prime in Fury 2, where he literally use the costume excuse ? And didn't have a cardio for more than 2 rounds? Or when he gassed in Fury 3, after throwing 5 body shots in Round 1 against Fury? What exactly attributes did Wilder lost since this fights i wanna hear it? What exactly is different back then, to now ? Explain it, but better do it in the thread i made for Wilder primer, and not flood this one.
And Wilder is not ? Dubois actually have a very decent reflexes ad moves his head, even though he is not a great one. And Dubois can KTFO Wilder with an ease, hell probably in the first round, as Dubois is not shinning for throwing punches. He will flurry Wilder and prolly KO him straight in the first round. Dubois is a big combination puncher with great explosiveness. Wilder has just 1 right hand. I think Dubois is going to chin him for real.
Dubois via HL reel KO The Dosser is irrelevant now. Even the people of Tuscaloosa have no interest in watching him fight ever again I'd actually like to see AJ vs Dubois now. Both are skilled with huge power and it would be a big fight over here. Brit vs Brit. Power puncher vs power puncher. E-Hearn vs Big Frank
If you don't throw punched you can't win and DD showed he can go when his back is up against the wall last night. I'd actually rather see Joyce V Wilder. A guy with a massive punch that doesn't seem there anymore vs a guy with a granite chin that's been cracked.. Still think we could see him in with AJ after a soft touch warm up in early Feb. If Wilder wants one last pay day.
Daniel actually has a good jab unlike Parker. He is also a huge puncher..he’s pretty good on his feet as well. I see a savage KO from Dubois. Look how Wilder took non punchers like Parker and Fury
