Deontey Wilder vs. Nikolai Valuev

Wilder had problems with Duhaupas's thudding jab. Valuev had a similar jab but a ton more reach, height and durability. I actually think Wilder would have major problems here.

 

Interesting match up.
I think bigger fighters would have a harder time with Valuev than the smaller HWs like Chagaev, Haye, Holyfield.
Many bigger fighters who are used to being bigger may be shocked at the size of Nikolai.
Valuev wasnt slow for his size.

Its hard to say but at this time Valuev has fought better comp in my opinion but when Valuev was on 39 fights like Wilder is now, I think Wilder at that respective time has done more.

Tough to call but think it would be close on points either way

Wilders athletic ability helps him a few rounds, then Valuev slowly starts catching him once in a while until one of them has an effect. He would get tired eventually, an that would lead to nighty night babes, sweet dreams D !

Valuev might actually shatter that fragile chin Wilder is packing. Think about it, he'd actually be a big step up for that fraud.

 

SNV would be the favorite. Wilder's too sloppy, and against a wall like SNV, he'd get clobbered. SNV is durable enough to withstand Wilder's attacks and all that mass will wear Wilder down. I say SNV stops him in the mid to late rounds.

 

Valuev is useless.big slow easy to hit with not much of a punch and thick!.if Haye rocked him to his boots Wilder would destroy him .A similar

I guess valuev is beeter than duphuas so it could be a difficult fight for DW, but I think DW will win ud
