Without necessarily being in complete agreement...

This leads in to the whole question about whether guys from xyz era would cope in today's HW division - to assume that this comparison (Delboy and Frazier) is completely invalid because of Delboy's relative lack of success presupposes that Frazier would do much better in this era (rather than that times have moved on from that kind of fighter).

There's a real argument in some sports that physical attributes have become more important than technical skill - this seems much more relevant in the HW division than anywhere else in boxing purely because attributes are unlimited and the potential for one fighter to have huge physical advantages are far greater than in weight limited divisions

I said it already in some threads and was shi.. on
Chisora is better than Frazier. They have similarities, but chisora would **** Frazier.

Frazier was not athletic at all, small and slow, but great stamina, great power only in the left hook, very good headmovement, and one of the biggest hearts in boxing, so mentally extremely strong and tough as nails.

Chisora has bad stamina, but is physically very strong, his power is above average, bad defense and mentally weak. But he would eat Frazier for breakfast.

Frazier was far leaner and quicker than Chisora.

Frazier had a quicker left hook and landed more of them to the head and body, just an all around better fighter.

    Kabayel beat Chisora
    Whyte beat Chisora x2
    Pulev beat Chisora
    Fury beat Chisora x2
    Haye beat Chisora
    Helenius beat Chisora
    Vitali K beat Chisora
    Parker beat Chisora
    Usyk beat Chisora

But in your opinion a heavyweight who was famed for a thunderous left hook, the first man to beat Ali, a genuine legend of heavyweight boxing would be "eaten for breakfast by Chisora"

    Really? :dunno

No way. Frazier has already beaten someone who's arguably larger than Chisora named Buster Mathis, Frazier would work Chisora down and stop him

I'd say Bert Cooper level. Chisora is literally a modern day Bert Cooper. They have a similar style and their both gatekeepers

Not sure about that. For the record, Marvis was 56-2 as an amateur. Only amateur losses were to Tony Tubbs (who he also beat) and James Broad (who he beat as a pro).

As a pro, he was 19-2. Only lost to Larry Holmes and Mike Tyson. Not Agit Kabayel

    No.

Chisora is just a gatekeeper and journeyman, Frazier was an ATG heavyweight.

    Big difference.
