    Povetkin's best win in Takam, has just been demolished by Chisora in far more convincing and brutal fashion. So therefore, Povetkin can no longer claim to be any better than Chisora any longer. Especially right now.

    Right now, Chisora is arguably better than Povetkin.

    It doesn't expose anyone's resume lol.... Takam showed his class for seven rounds and got caught in the 8th. Povetkin, Parker and Joshua's resumes don't take any hit. That will go down as one of the best comebacks and fights of the year.

    That doesn't change the fact that Chisora still exposed Povetkin's resume and best win in the last 4 years. Even if he did the same to Joshua.

    One can make the case that Chisora > Povetkin right now.

    I never rated Takam, but Takam when he fought Povetkin was in very good shape, active, and several years younger. Against Chisora Takam was out of the ring for almost a year and was 37 years old, so not a fair comparison.

    While I think Chisora has been shot for several years now he's at least been active, which means a lot and even now Chisora can still punch, but his best days are never coming back.

    Povetkin took 4-5 years off Takam’s boxing career after his brutal KO. He was never quite the same after that. Joshua couldn’t legitimately take out a shell of Takam. And this version was just ready for the taking.
