That's the whole story here actually, and the thing some posters here refuse to see. We're going to get a real mess in the HW ranks in the near future, with beltholders fighting all kinds of stiffs and refusing to face eachother. They avoid eachother now, so why would they risk their belts if they can take hold of one and have the oppertunity to milk them against domestic guys and no hopers. If Wilder somehow wins the WBC belt, or another for that matter, don't expect to see him in against dangerous opponents unless it's for a huge amount of money. And the Brit guys, Fury, Chisora and Haye if he comes back (again) can largely forget about getting a shot at the WBC belt anytime soon after burning their bridges.
I hope Derek has 6 fights this year, but personally I doubt it.For me,he'd have to be matched quite carefully as theres a few out there who would beat him.Wilder included.Hes not going to have 6 fights where the opponent has even a fair chance of winning,I could even see them taking a European defence against some youngster they don't know much about and an upset. But I hope Im wrong,as he's good to watch and I've got Boxnation.
Chisora had a good run last year, is in good shape and should be considered by the WBC as a potential contender for the title. I'd personally love to see him against the winner of Stiverne/Areola.
wilder is the biggest joke in boxing at the minute - fought nothing but bums, knocked them all out viciously, and then goes and ducks 3 clear call outs he doesnt deserve respect at all paying him respect respect is like saying mayweather is a knock out artist lately because he knocked out ortiz and his woman
