Dereck Chisora is back. Can he become a player at Heavyweight again?

NO HE STILL SLAPS, HIS PUNCHING TECHNIQUE IS TERRIBLE, HE WINGS HIS SHOTS WIDE AND anyone with a ounce of boxing skill can avoid them.

 

I suppose after he went 12 rounds with Vitali it was understandable to mistake him for a heavyweight contender.

He's still a big puncher and a threat, don't see him packing glass or being a joke like latter day Williams yet. A Joshua fight might still be on down the line.

Solid enough fighter but hes a euro level one at best.

Limited power, awful winged punches and his chin while decent isn't up to holding shots from decent punchers.

I think id pick browne over him now - it would be a tuff grinding kind of fight and that's the last thing dereck needs. If he comes motivated he can still be a good gate keeper/trial horse type - I can see AJ sparking him in the next year or so

Very true, people make him out to be relatively feather fisted which isn't true by any means
