Chisora that took Klitschko the distance against the Shavers that belted Holmes to the canvas?
A nice little heavy match up .

I think Chisora is underrated. I'd like to do a highlights of him when I get the time.

Earnie all day! Shavers was a true contender; Chisora was a journeyman, who got more chances than he ever deserved.

The only real chance he got was from beating a guy people were talking about as the successor to the Klitchskos.

    Chisora lost to
    Fury x2
    Haye
    Pulev
    Whyte. Close but he lost
    V Klitschko
Helenius. He may have deserved the nod but failed to take his chance and conclusively win.
    Kabayel
That is 8 chances to prove he deserved a world ranking and could be a factor in the title race, but he failed each time he moved up in class.
Del Boy lacked the dedication and drive to keep himself in top shape and the talent to go further.
At his best he was a," poor man's Joe Frazier," without the power.

Most people agree he beat Whyte, and Helenius was a flat out robbery.

The Agit fight and Fury 1 were the only 2 where he really didn't turn up.

He wasn't at the level to win against Vitali, Haye, Fury 2, or Pulev, but we'e all of the guys Shavers lost to really some class above them?

Maybe I'm just biased as I've always liked Chisora.

It's about 50/50 on the Whyte fight.I thought he beat Helenius ,never the less he didn't put it beyond doubt, as he should have done, given that he was fighting in Scandinavia.
Shavers was genuinely world class, I don't think Chisora ever really was.
Chisora lacked dedication ,work ethic, focus ,call it what you will ,bottom line he was never more than a fringe contender who received more bites of the cherry than his record indicated he deserved.

If anyone knows much about the British and Euoropean scene will know Chisora was a European level heavyweight. It's harder to gage with fighters from America as their national level isn't really comparable. Gatekeeper is probably a better word than journeyman.
