never was high on stiverne hell arreola was winning the rematch before getting clocked haye knocked chisora out and fury peppered him to death but stiverne does not have either of their attributes stivene made ray austin look like larry holmes with that jab. i think chisora would crowd him and put him on the ropes and take him apart chisora could walk into a counter or run out of gas but i dont think so, not the one from the helenius or vitali fight
I think there’s a difference — albeit often a subtle one — in that a gatekeeper has to close the door on some people. I really don’t see much of that with Chisora. I mean he let Agit Kabayel walk through the gate … not that he got anywhere, which a gatekeeper should shut the door in the face of that level of fighter. Mostly he beat other journeymen and mostly he lost (often competitively) to the better fighters he fought. But there should be some also-rans who took their step up against him and found themselves wanting where he was the one who separated their chaff from the heavyweight wheat and I find him wanting in that regard. Not trying to start an argument or big discussion. I think mostly we quibble over terms here.
Malik Scott was undefeated and had beaten Glazkov, making him a fringe contender at the time of his loss to Chisora. He also arguably beat Helenius when Helenius was in the top ten and he gave Whyte a run for his money in the first fight. Could go either way, king of the journeymen or gatekeeper.
