Two popular & reliable journeymen/world contender caliber fighters. I've recently felt that Chisora is the Bert Cooper of this generation of HW's. Who wins in what should be an entertaining slugfest.
Del boy would probably be too big for him, but this would still be a damned good fight between two of the divisions best ever fringe contenders
I back Chisora. He didn’t really lose fights to guys on Cooper’s level whereas Cooper lost plenty to guys worse than Chisora and rarely, if ever, beat anyone that good.
Realistically speaking Chisora would beat Cooper in most cases and probably by stoppage. However this thread claims to pit Cooper on a good night vs Chisora on a good night. Smokin bert was called smokin for a reason. The man was on that cocaine(LOL) and some of that likely made him worse in lots of fights. Cooper on a good night was somewhat decent as shown against Mercer, Moorer and Norris. In that case Cooper would take it
Chisora would be too big and solid for Bert. The version from the first Dillian Whyte fight would just grind Cooper down. Tat was the very best of "Del Bot" and no version of Cooper beats him.
The worst Chisora beats the worst Cooper. The best Cooper beats the best Chisora. I have no idea what ‘prime’ here means as there’s not really an identifiable crest in either’s career arc.
