Boytsov said he's likely fighting on the Sauerland card on the 14th of September and will not be fighting Chisora on Sep 21.

However, he said a fight with Chisora for the European title is in the works for later in the year.

I'm thinking Boytsov-Chisora will be on a Sauerland card in December or January.

Boytsov finally stepping up? OMG, OMG, OMG! :scaredas:

I had high hopes for him a couple of years ago, but his opponents only got worse.
Let's see if he can beat Dereck.

Great if true! Finally see him fight SOMEONE. Not sure how this goes though, I haven't been keeping up with Boytsov lately but Chisora is a good fighter, dangerous fight for Boytsov.

    Wow, what a great fight.

I think Chisora is a one-dimensional fighter, a clown, and completely overrated, BUT I do respect the fact he is willing to take big fights at a whim. He's definitely not a rankings squatter and maybe I'll have to start becoming a fan of his.

    I've added a poll.

It's really difficult to say how good Boytsov is, with his injuries and poor opposition since Bidenko. We know a lot about Chisora though.

we better see good refereeing, but glad to see this fight, great fights in 2013, i do have a bad feeling, a bad whispering in the back of my head.

As its frank promotion, he will ensure the ref is one that does everything to make chisora win, if boystov does go down he has no chance of getting back up as its likely ref will wave it off.

I can see there will probably be a type of ref that will suit dereck in that allow inside holding and hitting..

for boystov it is behind enemy lines, if he wins ill be amazed, just like i was amazed when lewis beat tyson when he had to also fight the bad refereeing.

Don't really care who wins this fight. But I think it should be a good one. If Chisora wins, it gets him closer to a beating from Wlad, which I wouldn't mind. Though with Chisora's record, Wlad would get more ****.

If Boystov wins, we'd get a new face with an unbeaten record, to in the near future challenge for the Title. But with his track record of injuries, nothing is guaranteed about his ability to stay healthy enough to stay relevant.

i think chisora might be too much for inactive boytsov. How boytsov can deal with chisoras swarming style.
