Christ this is going to be one of those fights that will be ended in a knockout after I've decided to eat a choc ice away from the TV. Still think Butler has a couple of other gears to get into, reminds me slightly of his performance against Najah Ali who was an awkward foe.

Gonzalez starting to catch Butler on a regular basis and making him miss with pretty much every punch.

Butler simply can't hit him with a punch.

    Round 6

Gonzalez swirls in under a jab, getting under and past it without making contact as though with a negatively charged magnet buffer. Nice pretty work by Gonzalez, pestering Butler, getting in close with single quick abs and then back outside to defend with catlike elusiveness. Gonzalez is bouncing in place after ducking and rolling under several errant jabs from Butler. Body combo by Butler, not thrown with much self-belief, falling short as Gonzalez simply hops away. Butler is walking forward, spinning his fists at his sides, egging himself on but unable to put anything together. Gonzalez ducks and takes the edge off a right hand as Butler drops it on him forcefully, leaning down into it. 1-2 by Butler. Another catches Gonzalez circling and tilts him off balance. Jab by Butler. Butler is closing the round well but lost too much of it.

    10-9 Gonzalez

    57-57

Butler still not landing, Gonzalez more active and landing with cleaner punches.

    3-3 Even.

Might have something to do with the opponent. Tough to look good against defensively adept, tricky in and out stylists.

To be honest i think most fans are waiting for Frankie Gavin, Chisora and BJS fights later...this is just a filler fight to most of fans in arena.

I actually fault Butler more than Gonzalez. I rather enjoy watching the Chilean do his thing.

    Round 7

Gonzalez is pushed on the back foot as Butler comes in close and lays the jab on him. Some more combination punching from Butler, not all getting through clean but keeping Gonzalez honest.

    10-9 Butler

    67-66 Butler

    Round 8

Gonzalez is jogging to his left, dropping jabs on Butler at intervals. Gonzalez rapidly moves inside and bodies up against Butler, popping in quick left hooks to the body. Butler is repeatedly throwing the 1-2 over Gonzalez's head, missing. Gonzalez feigns a hook to the body from outside and then taunts Butler by continuously feigning with it standing in front of him.

    10-9 Gonzalez

    76-76

    Round 9

Gonzalez is throwing hooks and right hands in succession, slashing Butler across the middle and forcing him back. Nice sustained body attack by Gonzalez as Butler fails to establish his defensive jab. Soft left hook from Butler. Looping right to the body by Butler squatting down, but not slowing Gonzalez. Several long jabs from Butler, all slipped as Gonzalez rolls under them. 1-2 by Butler, missing and made to look amateurish as Gonzalez drops his left arm and leans back.

    10-9 Gonzalez

    86-85 Gonzalez

Such a difficult rd to score.

Butler the busier fighter but still not landing anything clear so may just give it to Gonzalez for landing cleaner punches.

    Gonzalez 5-4

Gonzales is slippery as hell, and his elusiveness and peskiness is starting to wear on Butler, from the looks of things. Butler seems increasingly troubled at that he can't land anything- even to the body.

Got Gonzalez in the lead now, though I suspect that the judges won't.
