    Round 1

Murray is jabbing and catching shots on his right palm as he surfs around Walsh, both men squaring up to each other and firing crisp straights tit for tat. Hard clinch in the last twenty seconds, both throwing uppercuts as the ref lets them work.

    10-9 Murray, close

Well I'm nobody to talk, I couldn't even read a billboard printed on the buttocks of a more than six foot tall man (screw Boxrec and their inaccuracies) with any comprehension. :tired

    Homer nodded. :nod

    Round 2

Murray is staying just beyond reach of Walsh's jab and looking to counter with both hands. Walsh is putting his right hand in the cookie jar but getting slapped away by speedbag flurries from Murray. Walsh laughs and sticks his tongue out after getting hit flush with a hook on the cheek, showboating. Good shot by Walsh charging in, but Murray rolls with it and resets, back on his jab.

    10-9 Murray

    20-18 Murray

I'm frankly shocked to see Walsh doing this poorly, even though Joe The Genius came in with a decent reputation and unbeaten record. Walsh is supposed to be a big time prospect and surely must have been the favorite here, yet has dropped three in a row to start here...

    Round 3

Murray is hooking the body and jabbing in between Walsh's forearms. Nice flurries climbing up Walsh's torso and then spreading to either side of his skull as Murray places his feet expertly and maintains his balance while flinging his gloves in with very high volume. Walsh seems to be waiting for a chance to land something big, loading up and getting blocked. Nice left hooks landed by both men at the bell.

    10-9 Murray

    30-27 Murray

Very good start from Murray, best he's boxed in a long, long time. Unfortunately I feel his lack of stamina, strength and power will come into play here and Walsh will manage to force a stoppage.

Joe Murray performing very well, winning the first three rounds.

The commentators just acknowledged Murray's good work but in the same breath seemed to suggest Walsh took it on "imposing his strength walking through shots" and "putting on more pressure than before" as if those were scoring criteria irrespective of clean punches. :huh

I think Walsh took the 3rd on the last minute.

    Round 4

Murray is putting together nice combinations, 1-2-3 and the extra cross up top, shoeshining up and down Walsh's body and reeling his body outside before Walsh can punish him. Walsh is still loading up on hooks stepping in. They bump together and Murray falls, not a knockdown. Wild flurry by Murray leaping aside to stay off the ropes, and Walsh catches him in midair. Sloppy infighting clinch. Left hook at the bell by Murray after wrestling in center ring and jockeying for position, "showing a bit of strength himself" as the commentator says.

    10-9 Murray

    40-36 Murray
