Murray is jabbing smoothly on the back foot, keeping Walsh at the end of the jab and slapping over the top with right hands to help slow him down. Nice hooks on the turn by Murray. Walsh is resorting to hitting when he is close enough to snatch Murray in close and hold. Murray is breaking free of the clinches and dropping right hands on Walsh's shoulder, covering his escape with left hooks up top.

He did come on pretty strong to close out round 3, I'll give you that. :good

 

Classic boxer vs. puncher, wherein the former gives the latter a boxing lesson.

Round 6

Murray is backing up throwing jabs and combinations. Walsh steps through and leads with hooks. DOUBLE UPPERCUT INSIDE BY WALSH. Murray was hurt by that. Murray can't get off the ropes, covering up and shoving his way out but getting pinned and hammered. Walsh keeps marching him down and throwing hard straight piston combos. Hooks on the belt line by Walsh. Huge looping right on the temple by Walsh, putting Murray on the ropes in a shell.

Shame for Joe. 15 minutes of quality work down the drain; I'm almost positive Murray can't survive the 2nd half of this, especially if Walsh doesn't gas and keeps up the body attack.

 

Round 7

Murray is getting drilled into the ropes and hooked all over the midsection. Murray throws some overhand rights leaning down and rubbing his face into Walsh's chest. Walsh is digging hard downstairs and making the guard of Murray drop instinctively. Slapping flurries by Murray, staying close to smother Walsh and pushing into him with both arms between periods of flashy but insubstantial activity. Hard right uppercuts by Walsh as his left is knotted up. BIG hooks to the liver by Walsh. Murray is twisting away, nearly turning his back on Walsh.
