Del boy vs Lights out. Imagine the press conferences. James would take none of that bitchslappin **** from Dereck. Absolute Mayhem! I think its a pretty interesting match-up too and kinda makes sense too. I know Toney is shot to **** but it would be a good name on Chisora's resume, and a win for James(unlikely but who knows) would put him back in the mix. Lets say Toney could get into good heavyweight shape and 100% fit against a fit Chisora how does the fight play out, I think Derecks pressure would be too much for James now. :bbb
I saw an interesting video about the steriod use that James Toney has been caught on, and the fundimental reason alot of ageing fighters are taking it is for theyre testosterone levels being depleted due to the beatings around the head which in turn damages the pituetery gland behind the eyes. Before the Ruiz fight, toney was testing for levels of testerone to the equivilent of a 60 to 70 year old man. He was in effect, self medicating. Now, take this as you may, but I think this is savage news about the gland which makes you a man, getting destroyed, it certainly makes sense as to why fighters are much more fragile later in life than other old folks... Worries the holy hell outta me man...
Are you serious? Here's something to consider. Every mans test levels drop. When you reach that 30-40 mark, your levels will deplete automatically and it's not from being punched in the head, it's from simply aging. lol Some start depleting faster and earlier than others.
I would like to see Toney get a final beating to shut up his big mouth full of inaudible flutter. But mostly this fight would have great press conferences.
I am mate. Its frightening. I love boxing, but all the savagery thats going on with it I can accept. The corruption, the unfair decisions, the cheating, the drug abuse, Don King. All these things are hard to accept as part of the game. But taking away something that makes you a man, I dont know... The link below is a news report covering the subject, strangely you'll see that its over five years old, and this is the first ive heard of it. Its being covered to protect boxing and NFL and other full contact sports... so much money in it all see... You can't hide brain damage and its full effects, but you can hide testoserone depletion. Plus, how many guys would admit to suffering? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiQXogpXXDs[/ame]
No way Toney goes the distance! Chisora wont hurt him or drop him but I see a barrage against the ropes going unanswered and the ref stepping in during the middle rounds. Just look at Toneys last fight against Dennis Lebedev - if Dennis had gone in for the kill and stepped his punch output up that would have been stopped. Chisora by TKO within 8
Boring fight. Toney would stand in the center of the ring rolling with punches and rarely punching back. And you don't want to have two idiots getting themselves banned from their boring fight because they couldn't keep their cool in the pre fight.
