This fight is for the European heavyweight title vacated by Dimitrenko due to injury, and the winner of this fight is supposed to fight Dimitrenko next. Which leads to my question, why are European titles stripped from beltholders who have to pull out of a defense due to injury? The European sanctioning body gives injured boxers ZERO leeway, the belts are immediately stripped, and fights for the vacated titles are made. It drives me nuts, they don't seem to realize boxing is a violent sport, and boxers DO get legitimately injured!!! They should get to keep their belts!!!

Sorry NEWBIE, but you've got it all mixed up........Dimitrenko WAS NOT so injured when he beat Sprott and was calling for a Klitschko fight, but suddenly when the pursebids began to defend his title vs Helenius he mysteriously became injured.

Read a few posts on Helenius and the EBU challenge prior to his CLAIMING of injury. I can't quote myself verbatum, but I basically said he would vacate his title the minute a Helenius bout was mandated.........by claiming injury he is trying to save face, but true fans knows what's up.

Correct. Dimitrenko just doesn't have the heart of a fighter, he would never fight a hard puncher like Helenius.

Edmund Gerber will be fighting Matt Skelton on the undercard of Helenius-Chisora.

    Both are proven huge punchers.

I think Chisora has too much boxing skills in this match up and thats the deceiding factor.

You think Chisora is more skilled than Helenius? He does have better footwork and horizontal movement.

But I think Helenius is the more accurate puncher the two, and he comes up with some creative combinations, like the one he stopped Lyakhovich with.

Is this fight televised in the US? If so where? I'm looking for a legal option on regular TV, not the internet.................

I have HBO & Showtime but I haven't seen this one listed....................
