I mean, Whyte definitely is and Takam is up there? Or are you if the opinion that there are only 3 world class heavyweights?
Define gatekeeper? For me, you'd say a gatekeeper is someone you beat if you're going to be with the elite, and someone you lose to if you aren't. I don't think that's much different to someone being "up there." No he's not, Whyte is a top 5 heavyweight and Chisora is just about in the top 20.
lmao brilliant interview from War Delboy @CutThroatFade This content is protected When asked about Szpilka he says "Yeah im fighting Szpilka i dont know why...i just have to pay the bills"
Hearn: “it’s a 50:50 fight”. Dave Allen said it like it is in his hour long interview. Szpilka got battered by Wilder and Kownacki and all he ever was was a football hooligan who can box a little. 50:50 fight though.
Interesting thing about that interview is where Chisora is blaming Hearn for not makng Joshua-Wilder ...... and Kugan is trying to contradict that and defend Eddie ... it's remarkable that Chisora, who probably only has a few fights left in his career and can make money working with Hearn in that short time, is not afraid to speak his mind and criticize Hearn ... but Kugan, who is supposed to be an interviewer/reporter with no other agenda, can't let Chisora say that without sticking up for Hearn.
I just watched some of that. Allen was pretty much explaining to Kugan how the PPV being lined up for July 20th is a load of crap !
Unrelated, but I find it crazy to think that Anthony Joshua wanted to train with Don Charles but because Chisora threw his toys out the pram it never materialised and he went with McCracken instead. I wonder if he’d have had the same success had that happened...
