I have been talking to someone from Dereck Chisora's training camp in Fort William and with what i have been told i think his fight against Wlad is going to be a painful one for him. He told me he was very lazy and not doing much hard training and that the amateur boxers from the club up there were beating him during runs and sprints. they said he spent more time complaining about his training and was not really a nice person towards his coaches, kids and general boxing fans. He was also supposed to pay for the use of the gym whilst he was there because he wanted to train by himself alot and at specific times and one person in particular gave up alot of his time to help him get these sessions but has not paid a penny towards them. i was a fan of Chisora before i heard this but i'm left feeling like he maybe a bit of a big time charlie with no respect for anyone else. he also seems to be taking this fight with Wlad a bit easy and as this is the biggest fight of his career you'd expect him to be doing all he can to grab this chance with both hands. not sure if anybody else has heard any stories about chisora but i'd like to hear if he has done things like this before? or even if you have stories that show him as a good guy and not a complete nob.
Not surprised to hear that the guy is a ****...looking forward to seeing him get beaten bad against the Klit.
seen a video on youtube where he was runnin stirs with enzo mac.enzo calzaghe is trainin them have a look and see what ye think [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fkNLx2C1Xc&playnext=1&list=PLE13BF6E3934F9554&index=4[/ame]
So I guess the Klit fight is something you will be really looking forward to then? I just hope he shows enough guts to take a long beating instead of chucking it in at the first sign of trouble.
He's eccentric A horrible person But his unpredictable nature gives him a outside chance against someone as shaky as Wlad I'm not saying he will win - and a painful beatdown is the most likely story But he could shake up Wlad with his unpredictable mentality.
I hope he gets beat but I hope he puts in a good effort. Too many people are beaten before the first bell even rings against Wlad.
Doesent matter if Chisora has the training camp of his life, he is still going down, and going down early. He may as well just practice throwing haymakers at the heavy bag - an early connection with one of these is the only chance he has got, and even then it doesent look like he has the power, even with Wlads ropey chin.
Hard to tell if that wasn't a 'game planned' vid or not. I hope he has more heart than that though on sat, if not a couple of tough rounds of feeling the Klits power and he is giving up.
You get guys who aren't good trainers, who hate training but get on with it but will winge all way through. Especially the bigger lads. He looks in good shape from what i seen. But shame if he's acting the **** up there...they gave him a great camp to work in.
He is the kind of Boxer that makes a lot of people think that Boxers have got massive ego's because of his poor attitude.. You can tell that he thinks that he is some sort of star.
