Derek Chisora set to face Otto Wallin in February

He did stun Gassiev, so I wouldn´t say his punches are pathetic.

 

To be fair Chisora has never really got the benefit of the doubt even in the UK. Alot of people felt he beat Parker in their 1st meeting and that was in the UK and he didn't get the nod.

Chisora is not the A side so I don't think he would be gifted a decision.

 

I remember he had lots of favorable officiating when he was promoted by Warren - dodgy British stoppages over Pala and Gerber, for example.

More recently against Pulev, he was allowed to headbutt and received a gift decision. Some of his close decision losses should have been wider.

 

On the other hand, you can argue he should have gotten the nod in some of his close losses f.e. with Helenius, Whyte I. Some saying Parker I, but for me Joe won clearly.

 

I haven't seen his early fights to be fair I only started watching him after his 1st fight with Fury.

 

Definitely PPV worthy match. As long as the cost is under 10 cents. And I won't watch it anyway.

 

You may be right. But, I don't think Wallin will engage with Chisora like Joyce did. You just can't always count on the consistency of fighters with as many miles on them like Chisora. I think Wallin might lull him to sleep and peck his way to a snoozing decision victory. But, I will be pulling for Chisora.

 

He lost to AJ...

 

Why would the call it "The Last Dance"? Chisora is going to fight for another ten years.

 

Given how hard Wallin folded v AJ I'd say Chisora has a good chance tbh.

He'll apply pressure early on and has a reputation for punch power (even though his KO percentage is relatively low) he might be able to get on the inside and destroy Otto early.

Wallin is probably favourite though and if it goes to points then it'll be a comfortable Wallin win.
