Chisora has not been in with the calibre of Arreola's opponents but he looks a more exciting speedier heavy with a proper HW punch of his own and with better variety.

I think he'd do a more convincing job than Adamek and it would be a good fight to launch him on the world stage.

    Thoughts?:good

Chisora has the ability to beat the Tortilla eating beer swigging joke that is Arreola. It be a brilliant fight but i think Chisora has what it takes to beat him i really do.

I couldn't predict either way. Arreola could take Chisora's shots, be interesting to see how Del coped with Cris's power and (under rated) work-rate.

    good match up.

Arreola has a high work-rate and a good chin. A game Arreola would give the current Chisora all sorts of problems.

If Arreola comes in around 210-220 he'd beat Chisora, who at this stage isn't as clever as Adamek.... who'd beat Arreola every day of the week.

He's got one hell of an engine, but seems to like pies too much and as such loses plenty, he was getting tagged with allsorts against old, shot Vitlay though.

Then again, I don't think we've seen Chisora in optimum shape :think

Make the fight happen, he's cleared up domestically barring Fury who'll remain an enigma for a while.....

It's definitely one that he can win, though I say that conditionally.

Thing is we always say ''if'' with Arreola. The guy's last fight was far from impressive. Even when he trains with some amount of dedication he still a roll of flab.

Lost time for him after the Vitali tears, guy talked like he use that as the moment to change his career...like **** has he!

I'm not a fan of Cris Nipple, but this would be too early and a bad style match-up for Derek. Arreola KO's him late IMO. You can't have a shootout with Arreola, he has the chin and can change a fight with one punch even if he has more rolls than a bakery shop window. I've seen nothing to suggest that Chisora would be able to keep Arreola off, he hasn't got the physical advantages over Cristobal either. I don't think Chisora is that much better at this stage then Chaz Witherspoon who Arreola beat.

I'd go for Arreola to be honest. One thing he isn't is china chinned, he can hold a shot. Chisora's style is basically to stand in the pocket, that could be bad news for him because Arreola is by far the bigger puncher of the two and it would suit him down to the ground having been in with the hard to tag Vitali and fleet footed Adamek.

Surprisingly rational repsonses people [edit: reason, British forum]

yeah no doubt arreola would be the big fav on the books. But chisora I think has some grit and strength. Also fresh and athletic which chris is starting to lack. But every fighter arreola has lost to should beat chisora, no?

    Think derek could win

Don't be so surprised that's what we do here, well most of the time.

At this moment in time i'd say Arreola.

I hated the way Adamek fought him, he only ever won that fight as he never engaged. I'm not talking Floyd like movement here either.

Sure, being the smaller fighter, coming up the weights, you wouldn't expect him to get involved in a battle, but to me that fight was getting on as a borderline farce.

Arreola is no great shakes, but he's better than the ridicule he gets suggests.

A very tough fight for Chisora and he'd do more than very well to beat him.
