Strange if this is true. Why would Pulev risk his mandatory position against a dangerous opponent like Chisora?

If the fight happens I could see pulling off an upset. Chisora may not have a flawless record but he is in the best shape of his career, has the experience at the highest level and is on a good run. The manner of the Johnson win showed he is a genuine contender and is a threat to anyone not named Klitschko.

Chisora have problems with a movable targets if a slow out of shape johnston can have dereck in trouble i guess pulev who is on toes all the time would make dereck look very bad also dont forget chisora doesnt dodge jabs very well so i expect pizza face made by pulev!

Albanian? Pulev is a Bulgarian, go back to school kid.

If it happens I don't see how Chisroa can win this one. The old undamadged Chisora could have given Pulev some trouble. However, post- David Haye Chisora stands no chance.

Pulev was dropped and badly hurt by journeyman Abell, Chisora will pummel this guy back to Romania :hi:

Ye he was so badly hurt that he was able to stand on one leg. I've never seen a fighter so badly hurt and what is more, in the next few seconds he knocked Abell down :yep

You poor little troll, just log off.

Confused as to why Pulev would do this. Not only is he putting his mandatory position at risk but if this happens, it will likely be in the summer when Wlad should be ready for another fight. Why not just wait a month and start putting together a fight with Wlad/Lepai winner for the summer instead? I would be surprised if this goes down.

The scheduling is also a mess. A purse bid in late March? If this goes down, it won't be until probably July..which is when Wlad usually squeezes a summer fight in. So Pulev doesn't plan on cashing in on his mandatory challenge until winter? I don't get it.

Awesome fight! I like both fighters a lot. I predict Kubrat UD, just don't think Chisora will be able to deal with that jab.

Pulev is not fighting Chisora any time soon. They will eventually meet but not this year. Chisora can`t put enough money on the table to fight for the mandatory spot.

I think Chisora would be a bad matchup for Pulev. Pulev grinds foes down. That doesn't work real well with Chisora, he just grinds back. Chisora's punch tolerance has decreased with his weight, but I don't think Pulev has the power to capitalize. Chisora has a higher punch output than Pulev, and Pulevs jab won't keep him away. I'd take Chisora winning a UD (especially if fought in Great Britain).
