Morrison had the power to dispatch Chisora and would likely be favored by many. But Derek is dangerous, durable and could potentially outlast him. I’m not too sure about how this one would go
Tommy hits harder and is more skilled, but I think Derrick's chin keeps him in the fight long enough to land a big shot and KO Morrison
Del is a fun fighter with tons of heart and a good chin...and he carries his power late. This could be an upset but I see Tommy winning every round here. He could get behind his boxing and sting Del every few rounds with big uppercuts as he walks in winging those wide punches. For me, he keeps Del honest over twelve and is too cute to be caught by such a crude slugger...and before anyone shouts 'Ray Mercer', Del is a destitute man's version of Mercer who could box, had a wonderful jab and knew how to 'rassle' on the inside and land hurtful short punches..
Morrison was better boxer, but Derek had far, far superior stamina and chin. Tommy had more pover, but power/chin ratio would be in Derek's favour in this fight definitely since Chisora had very good mandibles and Tommy wasn't durable at all. If Morrison fights his perfect fight (like against old Foreman) he should be favoured against Chisora. But that's a very, very big IF. Remember, prime Morrison barely survived totally shot version of Carl Williams and got demolished in 1 round by light hitting novice Michael Bentt
I wanted to say Tommy by KO, but Derek is certainly better than Bentt and Hipp so he could definitely win this.
Interesting match-up. I think Morrison would have his moments early in the fight and win a few rounds, but I think the tide would turn as the fight progresses with Morrison's stamina decreasing and Chisora maintaining his relentless pressure hence tiring and slowing Morrison down. Chisora close points win for me.
Chisora has a good chin but his chin can be cracked Haye bashed him up in just 5 rounds and Whyte knocked him out with a single left hook. Could go either way honestly it's either Morrison early or Chisora late.
