What Canelo couldn't do in the people eyes twice Derevyanchenko did in his first try. I don't care if the judges rob SD again, because SD is still the people's champ in many boxing fans eyes. I want to see Canelo go against a fighter who is technically better than him. Is Canelo, on a technical level, better than Jacobs and Golovkin? Jacobs, yes. Golovkin, debateable. Canelo is even a much better technician than Kovalev. However, Canelo ain't better than SD on a technical level and he will get outboxed and outworked. Easy money for SD.

Watch the slow motion footage if you think SD beat Golovkin

And watch in reverse, round 12 to 1, through kaleidoscope glasses. While hanging upside down with a rope tied firmly around your balls. Then and only then will you see the true result, of course. Everybody knows this, silly.

I could select 120 seconds of the fight and slow it down, even slower if you wanted, to show the exact opposite effect.

"Watch in super slow motion" is the stupidest trend on this forum. All bred from some Pacquiao fans that lost money and their heart way back 4.5 years ago now. No surprise Golovkin fans (the same bunch) are in love with slow motion clips as well.

He beat GGG. GGG beat Canelo. Fury beat Wilder. Hagler beat Sugar Ray. Castillo beat Mayweather jr.

Unfortunately all that matters is what’s in the record books. Hate it. Run from it. Create threads about how one guy was “robbed” It doesn’t matter. Boxing and boxing’s blatant corruption, briberies and fixes are a package deal at the moment. Understand that what goes around comes around.

Boxing is a multi billion dollar business and with that insane amount of money comes this hard fact: The boxer who won the fight will not always get the win. The win is what usually determines who fights who. I hope they give Derevyanchenko a shot, I really do but I doubt it will happen. He’s just dangerous enough to cause problems. Canelo will cherry pick another hydrated catchweight garbage match up.

That video shows the action points of the whole fight in slow motion, so I'm not sure why you're talking about "120 seconds". Facts are a lot of the punches SD threw did not land clean at all or were blocked by Golovkin, despite how it appeared in real time.

If the W was given to Maidana in the first Mayweather fight I'm sure you people would be the first to say to look at the slow MO footage lmao.

Before this footage was released people were saying SD's cut was caused by a shoulder clash, but then we only heard crickets after the footage provided more insight

What do you mean, "you people...?"

Just kidding. No. I would say that I disagreed with that opinion. Slow motion replay of a sequence is cool and fine. But slow motion of a whole fight? That is just not among the liberties judging a fight has.

At this point I think a top notch version of SD will give Canelo a stiff test. After the Culcay fight I thought Canelo destroys SD, now I am not so sure. SD seems to lift his game for the better fighters.

I'm a certified Canelo hater, so when I say he's not "easy money" for anybody at middleweight you better believe me. I do think SD looked impressive vs GGG though, very gritty performance and I found it hard to pick a winner.

SD has a claim to the number 1 MW right now. I personally had him losing by a point to GGG and haven't seen the Jacobs fight so I can't comment

I'd like to see this one. Think it would be a really good matchup.

I think it would be a fun fight to have, but even with the WBC's "Mexicans can cheat" ruling, I doubt we will see Canelo back down to middleweight any time soon.
