He handled Golovkin much better than Canelo did. Derevyanchenko won more rounds in 1 fight vs Golovkin than Canelo did in 2

He'd give him a good fight but Canelo beats him even without hIs special scoring superpowers

Against Canelo, with fair judging, he's a good chance which means he's no chance!

Not really. Canelo won 3 rounds in the first fight, and at least 5 rounds in the 2nd fight.

Canelo won 10 rounds in total. SD won 5 in total. Pretty poor maths.

Derev is all pressure and volume and nerve. He'd run into counters all night. Get dropped a few times too early probably. Would be fun later on as Canelo slowed though. When's the last time anybody tried to walk down Canelo? Golovkin prodded him with the jab. Kov fought on his back foot a lot. Jacobs isn't that guy.

If they fought I think it would be a good and competitive fight, but Canelo should be the sizable favorite to win.

The most intriguing aspect heading into the fight would have to be the fact that they matchup so well stylistically, that you could make a case for each of the two being the others worst nightmare, and in the end someone would be right and the others wrong. But I think they are so quality that if they fought 10 different times each would win at least a few fights and I think that all 10 fights would play out differently than the others and be unique.

I agree with that. GGG clearly on the decline.

Let's hope he can summons one more top notch performance out of that body.

The seeming decline though is probably why Canelo's team now wants to fight him again.

Before people jump on me, I respect Canelo as a fighter but do not like his management team.
