Better than when he first popped up as a TV fighter? Yes, absolutely.

A credible heavyweight contender? Still no...not even close.

At the end of the day he's still the same soft guy that got KO'd by Chambers and Dimitrenko. When somebody throws punches at him we'll see.

His defense looked like absolute ****, he's a C level boxer. He fought an opponent that's a D level boxer.

Welcome to ESB Rossy. Don't mind the harsh reception here. Just introduce yourself and people will be gentler.

Yes, this was a good showing by Rossy. The problem is his defense is probably not going to improve a whole lot more and his inside fighting isn't either. Rossy could end up being a top level contender with the right circumstances but I think he'll end up being a mid level fringe contender. Rossy has a good workrate though, but a big puncher who is accurate would destroy him.

to be honest, Hes probobly somwhere in the Mid C's still. But thats nothing to be ashamed of.... I doubt hell ever make it to the top 15 tho, he just dosent look like hes a natural fighter. Hes an athlete, but if he was a fighter he would have gotten drummond out of their after that uppercut

He is 29 and he is no Ron Lyle. He is a better fighter than he was in 2007 but he will never be world class.

He's a B level fighter. Think of it this way... there are something like 6.7 billion people in this world and he'd take 99.9% of them in a fight.

I´ve not seen the fight, but Drummond didn´t look that bad against Chagaev. So a Rossy win to me sounds somewhat impressive.

    I watched that fight
its easy to win when the other guy is pretty inactive and inneffective
I didnt see the chambers fight but heard eddie talking about it in the commentary
he's ok, I wouldnt pay money to watch him fight though
