He does so many things wrong technically. I still don't rate him, but his grit and power is very impressive. His flaws will come back to haunt him at the top level.

you dont have to be the most skilled ,when one punch can end it. When clinching is involved you feel the weight and why weight can make a differance, if he continues to work on the take down defense and force guys into brawls he will get more wins. He was unprepared for this and still won. One thing is a bigger guy with Power and a chin go further than a lighter guy with less chin and better striking in the Hw division with strikers. sooner or later you get hit.

Most of his success comes from ground and pound though, not brawling on the feet(not that he isn't good at that) I've followed his entire career and he was completely outlcassed at times by lower level guys like Pesta, Abdurakhimov and even a shot Gonzaga before his chin gave out on him. He gets by on his power and heart, also able to muscle his way out of bad positions on the ground - never seen anything like it.

BTW you should join the MMA prediction league - we need more people. It's still early and while we're almost 2 months it you could still potentially win it in the end.

Yes but he hurts ppl on the feet. you cant go by career as stated you have to look at recent wins and fights .He has alot more to work with than a guy like Browne. Its his 6th straight win,hes not going to get worse at this stage, type of guy that could wobble anyone with a punch at anytime. outmuscling out of positions is part of the game, that is fighting.

Yeah but those were all recent fights... I'm just saying he's badly flawed and capable of losing to guys worse than Browne on any given night. For that reason I can't tip him to be a top fighter. His power and brute strength aren't going to cover up those holes forever.

We will see...hes still a top 10 guy for sure. Danger always is always a variable in combat sports.a refined lewis is a dangerous guy moreso than he is now. i dont even like his approach to training but hes still dangerous.

so i just pick matches in the MMa league??

Yep. You just pick the winner and method of victory(KO, SUB, Decision) from the fight list.

The fight list would be the whole card or selected matches? guessing /picking the correct method of win gets more points i assume?
