    Not a mismatch.

Would love to see it, and would love to see Derry do it.

I disagree, Breidis Prescott is nearly 6ft and would have weighed a lot more than Mitchell on the night they fought. Mitchell won that fight comfortably.

Its most unlikely we'll ever see that Mitchell again.

It really is a free for all, Mitchell hasn't had a legit win in over 2 years so I'm intrigued to see him in a fight against someone like Matthews, it certainly will tell us alot.

If kevin Mitchell loses to Mathews he should contemplate retirement.

dnt see all fuss with mitchell looked good early in career but suffered bad defeats to a katsidis on slide(still decent tho) and burns who isnt bigest puncher derry hits hard if mitchell fought same way he did against prescott shud win points but wud fancy derry if got in a war feel derry is in purple patch sdhud try fight as much as possible dnt think mitchell is gd enough to be a world champ

When was the last time the fans wrote Derry off? He was the betting favourite Vs Woodhouse, Coyle, Marsili and the 2nd Crolla fight. And he only won two of those fights.

The only time people have wrote him off was against Rees and the first Crolla fight, and he only won one of those fights.

Mitchell is rated by many on the ability he showed many years ago, it's unclear whether he can return to that level. If working with Sims brings Mitchell back to a decent level then he should beat Derry fairly comfortably and move on to capture at least British/Commonwealth titles but a world title is prob a step too far. If Mitchell looks as average as he has last few outings then Derry could cause him some big problems with his size and power, as much as I rate Derry and how he's come back may times, Mitchell should give it up if he loses.

Good cross road fights. They are both in no mans land and need another solid win to get back in the picture for more meaningful fights. They've come and gone a number of times so it'll be difficult to talk up another big fight without some decent wins. Derry looks close to that but Mitchell is a classier operator. Matthews can outbox someone like Woodhouse but not sure if it'll be that easy versus Mitchell.

Has a puncher's chance at best. Coyle walked rings round him for 10 rounds before leaving himself open and getting caught. No way he outboxes Mitchell.
