What do use reckon will happen in the upcoming commonwealth title fight? I think Derry might have too much for Coyle although I haven't seen much of him really other than his loss in Prizefighter were he performed ok. Who do you think is favourite in this fight and how will it pan out?
Im going for tommy to start fast with the hull crowd behind him win the first hqlf of the fight with derry taking over midrounds wearing tommy down and stopping him about rnd 9. i just feel if this fight starts going past the mid rounds derry has been there done it coyle might start running out of ideas
Derry could old man tommy a bit, think if tommy doesn't load up on his shots he may give Derry problems.
This is a fight where I think any of the outcomes could happen, can see Derry winning though in a late stoppage or points due to his experience
I reckon because it's killing Crolla whilst not necessarily moving him up any rankings significantly. Plus they'll always have enough interest to generate a third fight somewhere down the line, even off the back of a few losses a piece.
Thanks for the reply, Crolla's going nowhere, people see him as something special but he's purely a domestic-level fighter. So is Derry of course, but everyone knows that and he's a battler. The rematch would generate decent coin for both, it's a nice trilogy...
