Im glad Iv come on and read the above posts Derry did look back to his very best great countering/boxing through the night, i thought the odds of 20/1 earlier in the week were crazy, just ran out of juice at the end. I hope Derry gets busy because hes right back up there.

In all fairness, that body shot was pretty brutal. Looked like it was right to the floating rib area

Great action from the fella. Still showed he had class and ability....wonder if he fancies making a long term come back?

Really pleased for Derry, he gave a good account of himself last night and that breakfast finder from Buckland would have dropped them all so no shame in that...:yep

Really good to see you back Derry, well done...:good

Great performace by Derry. Looked to be back.

I think Crolla is the man to beat!!!

    And Sykes will come again.

He wasn't tensed because he was blowing.

Got caught with exactly the same shot in roughly the same situation the 2 thursdays ago. Needless to say I reacted pretty much the same as Derry. If he had been fresh he would not have gone down from that as he would have been tensed.

I was personally really happy for Derry, he done great and I thought the 2nd round of his fight with Choi was the best round in prizefighter history, memorable it really was although I'm not sure if Renda v Samuels was also in the tournament, either way Derry should be very proud of himself and let's all just say welcome back the Golden Boy ;-)
