The one where Rees won. The sky commentary for the fight was diabollical. Couldn't have been pushing more for Crolla if they tried.

Crolla eeked SD against a 5-4-3 Mexican gym rat and your touting him for a world title?

Beating John Murray is no achievement its a well known fact Murray wanted no part of Matthews and avoided him like the plague.

Murray had boxed about 5 rounds in the last 2 and a half years and was still beating Crolla until he gassed lol.

We will see Crollas true level when he steps up in class

I'm a fan of Mathews but I'd put him Euro level on his best day, in fact I'd like to see him face the winner of Marsali - Mezzache for the EBU title and that would be a big fight for Derry and - if he faces Marsali - a chance at avenging the IBO loss a couple of years back.

Mathews has done well since he came back at LW, winning the Lonsdale belt twice as well as picking up the CW title and some other straps. He would need a champion to pick him for a voluntary defence which is unlikely, because I can't see him working his way into a mandatory position.

A fitting end to his career would be winning the Lonsdale belt outright which, given the strength of the domestic LW scene would be a decent achievement, or picking up the European title...

Did you see the fight? musn't have done if you are saying that. Crolla won 7 out of the 8 rounds easy. Judging was diabolical.

Is beating Gavin Rees not stepping up in class?? I worry about people on here, there is alot who literally have no understanding of Boxing.

No I havent seen the fight. But it sounds strangly like Rees v Crolla where Rees won 8 out of the 12, but Rees didn't get the nod for some reason.

Didn't think you would have done, HOW ON EARTH did you have Rees winning 8 out of 12. That is seriously unbelievable. It's that bad you could probably get a job judging.

Even Jamie Moore had Crolla by 2 and he NEVER sides with Crolla in a close fight. I had it by 4 after watching it back the next day with no commentary.

Id get yourself down to specsavers pal on a serious note.

Only watched it the once Macky, but I'll give it another look again just for you.

PS. Who gives a **** what score Jamie Moore had it? He was part of the Sky bias farce.

I thought Crolla won easy, i was there that night, albeit pritty ruined. I got the feeling he won easy. I said to my mate going into the 12th. "He's got this easy if he can avoid getting stopped"

I came on here the next day and a couple said Rees won, i couldn't believe what i was reading so watched it again and still couldn't believe what i was reading.

What I remember they was few swing rounds. I had it 116 - 112 Rees.

Neither won the fight easy, which is where your letting your loving for Crolla creep in.
