That's what Toney gets for being such an unlikeable bloke. Be an ******* if you want, but don't expect people to like to be near you.
even if one doesn't like him, one should respect him as a fighter. He ain't getting no respect here by most, most just reduce him to being fat and so on... btw, I'll say it again, outside the ring and press-conferences and the whole theatre surrounding it, Toney is a genuinely good-natured guy, you won't find a fighter who's nicer and more friendly to his fans. And he spends much of his spare time doing charity work for disabled and sick kids, he supports young amateur kids in boxing, visits them in the gym etc... he's really a class act when the cameras are turned off, and it's no show. But I understand that most people wouldn't suppose that...
If Toney applied the same logic to his contemporaries who have risked their lives in the ring and for that matter have been far more committed to the sport, maybe he wouldn't be so unpopular. People who talk trash shouldn't complain when they're covered in it.
