A dissappointing affair which turned out to be the mismatch that everyone was expecting when the fight was announced. Taking nothing away from Mayweathers performance, he was in a different class last night ... unhittable (new word) and dominant. I hope Marquez made some good money from that and obviously hasn't lost anything in terms of respect as a fighter. Then Max Kellerman took what could have been a stroke of genius and ****ed it all up by not sticking the microphone under Floyds nose and letting the man speak. What an idiot, one of the best call outs in a long time and he goes and pulls the microphone away so no one can hear anything but him. I don't think he let him answer one question.
You must have been expecting something different. Marquez landed with solid shots on many occasions, and even managed to stiffen out Mayweather's legs once or twice. For some of us just those squared scores alone shouldn't have even happened. Not any of them.
I stopped watching after the 7th round i was still listening though It was a classic case of great little fighter vs even greater bigger fighter i was impressed with Mayweather.
it wasnt that bad but pbf should have stopped jmm... is jmm the first fighter that pbf decked but wasnt able to finish off? just curious....
411 wasn't availiable. Mayweather refused to be weighed by HBO on fight night. My description: Great performance by PBF. May looked sharp & ready to continue his run. (Congrat's) JMM got a dose of reality, as have many smaller fighter's in the past. Stay within your range & comfort zone & remain your best. JMM took on the best avaliable & for that he retains my respect 100%.
