Desert Storm Deserves Respect!

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Apocolypse313, Jun 18, 2015.

  1. Tim Bradley is a great fighter with an excellent resume with top names like Miguel Vazquez, Junior Witter, Kendall Holt, Nate Campbell ,Lamont Peterson took his 0, Luis Carlos Abregu took his 0, Devon Alexander took his 0, Joel Casamayor, Manny Pacquiao broke his winning streak and took his belt, Ruslan Provodnikov went life and death for the fans, Juan Manuel Marquez out-boxed the man that beat the man.
Bradley is humble, something that people complain about when it comes to Black fighters yet with all that he has accomplished he gets no respect. The exact opposite of Floyd and Broner and he gets no love. Fought Manny 2x and he is barely moving tickets in his hometown. (I just bought 2 for $50.00 each)
Does he have to act a fool and dance to get his respect from the fans? Does he need to slap people and fight in nightclubs and be on worldstarhiphop for you to care??
What does Bradley have to do to be recognized worldwide?

Pound-for-pound stud, stacked resume. Defo deserves more respect. Homeboy outbrawled Provo and outboxed Marquez. Who does that to either one of them, let alone both?

Separate note: Can anyone tell me the history on Amir Khan and Bradley? Talks ever start between the two?

I personally dont think people are talking much about Bradley is because hes with TR. That boxing promo has NO fighters and they are running out of guys to match their fighters with. Once Bradley can leave TR and i hate to say it, but if he goes with Haymon, he will get more attention and more respect he deserves.

Hes one of my fave fighters and is solid but last couple of years have been fairly rough for him

Im kinda loosing some. He keeps fighting the wrong fight and nowdays he blows up between fights.

  6. Bradley dropped the LW WBC belt in order to fight Pacquiao. He was scheduled to fight Khan for the belt but moved up instead for a mega bout. Khan would have succumb to Bradleys pressure anyway. He went on to get schooled by Peterson and KAYOED by Garcia.

  7. He keeps trying to be a brawler with power. His mental state these days is comparable to Judah, you just don't know who's showing up to fight.

Bradley's resume deserves respect. The problem is his style is not the most entertaining(with the exception of the Provodnikov fight). He doesn't get knockouts and he doesn't do anything in particular great in eye catching fashion, just does a lot of things well. And the Pacquiao robbery took a lot of shine from him in the public eye. It wasn't his fault the judges got it wrong, but he took some flak regardless.

The Pacquiao controversy already gave him worldwide recognition.

Apparently on this forum, if you don't have a certain amount of power, then you're not that good. Like that makes any f*ckin sense whatsoever.

    He gets respect.

He just needs to continue being himself. He made $2m from the Chaves fight and $6m from the Pacquiao fight before that so he is doing just fine and probably better than Broner.

Bradley, Porter and Thurman are the 3 American fighters I enjoy watching the most.

One of the best warriors in the sport today. An old school badass. I wish he would fight a little smarter for himself tho.

I cant say enough good things about Bradley.

With wins over ruslan, jmm, and two fights with pac... he really should have a bigger name. I think his lack of power has kept him from the mainstream.

In a world where American fighters are represented by delussional loud mouthed pus sies like Cowardweather and Ward, Bradley is a true G, someone you guys should be very proud of
