Just not a very exciting boxer, Provodnikov fight was good but most others were shite. And he's not on that level to get away with not being exciting.

a lot of the blame still has to go to his old promoter....he doesn't know/want to build a fighter up.

he is like bhop or danny garcia....

they are very solid boxers who are not amazing in anyone category but are full of depth and very good in all areas.

He should be more popular and have a lot more fans. Damn shame really. He comes to fight is in shape and has good skills.

He's been gifted a couple decisions and he's not a very hard puncher so he's just not that appealing to watch. Kind of a boring personality to me too. He's a good guy though...family man and all of that. I don't dislike him...if he had punching power and was knocking people out I think he would be much more popular than he is. That being said, as Pimp C mentioned...he always comes in shape and he's game...pretty versatile fighter too. I would like to see him fight Danny Garcia if he beats Marquez.

You should make sure to always sleep on your side.

That way you won't choke to death on your own smug. :tired

    OT:

I agree with much of what you have to say, but the truth is that Tim's style is not always very pleasing to the eye and then to make matters worse, you rarely get the pay off. It's a shame, but he's just light on KOs.

Having said that, I am a big fan of Desert Storm. JMM is the only fighter that I would root for against him.

Finally@platinumpoopy or whatever: take your race card over to Jesse. He might be able to get you a few bucks for it.

Did that tons and I still end up with 8-4.
I can go as far as 10-2 and not feel any shame but the moment I give a 7-5 card I feel like puking in disgust already.

So you're telling me that all the ring side experts, boxers and writers having Pac by landslide unanimously has a lot to do with the HBO broadcasters whom they didn't hear?
So we all had it wrong? And the 4/5 WBO judges who scored it again courtesy of the protest filed by Arum also had it wrong?
So your hero JMM saying he had Pac up by 5 points had it wrong too?

You, good sir, don't know **** about boxing.
Let me say that again with style.

He lost twice to Pacquiao and Prodonikov.

    Pacquiao soften him him up.
And Prod smacked him hard that he almost got KTFO in the final round.

Marquez has the benefit of a tenderized Bradley.

Although the Pacquiao robbery wasn't his fault, him carrying on as if he really won and saying that he watched the fight over and over and each time he comes to the conclusion that he won 8-4 makes him look delusional. Not only did he not win anything close to 8 rounds, I don't think he even landed 8 significant punches in the entire fight.

Now had he come out and said that he felt it was a close hard fought fight that could have went either way, then fans would be a bit more forgiving. Instead he carries on as if he won decisively.the

I'm pretty sure he did actually say that, and said that in his personal opinion there were eight rounds he saw for himself. Those statements don't contradict each other.

    Also, eight punches? Who's delusional?

Because he does everything averagely which isn't a bad thing at all but good all round fighters aren't exciting to some people.

I like him, Pac fight aside, think he is a guy who has had to come up the hard way because he hasnt major backing, The Prvo fight was FOTY for me and the guy showed what a warrior he is, took massive shots and never gave in, To me he seems a hard working dedicated fighter who was bitter about the hate he got after the Manny fight, i hope he can beat JMM and get the respect he deserves he is a legit elite level fighter and a real pro
