Despite Cotto having no chance, Floyd should get MUCH more credit than Pac vs Cotto!

exactly my point yet you guys thought that floyd-cotto having a wider odds than pac-cotto is solely because of floyd's skills.

No, he said that it speaks more to Floyd's abilities vs. Pac's abilities than it does to Cotto's abilities and I agreed. Nobody said it was "solely because of Floyd's skills". Your reading comprehension is ****ing pathetic. :-(

it's also a false assumption. if the oddsmaker were basing it "more" on floyd's abilities "more" than other factors, then floyd-jmm should be on wider odds compared to pac-jmm3 but it wasn't.

The odds of the fight does not translate into how good the fighters are .

Again, what do you think the respective odds would be today if JMM was given a rematch with both Manny and Floyd?

Floyd isn't coming out of a nearly two year retirement or fighting a guy who has never fought at the weight this time, so those "other factors" don't apply. How is this Cotto really any different from the one that Manny fought aside from fighting at a higher weight?

The odds maker based it on Cotto's conditions, he's a REPAIRED DAMAGED GOODS.:deal

Hey clown, same reason Julio Cesar Chavez wanted a 145 catchweight vs Whitaker. He was moving up from JWW where he'd weighed 138 in his previous fight, having spent his entire career before that bar a couple fights below 130 and after hastily having moved up from 135 to fight Oscar.

Floyd gets credit, Cotto looked good.

BUT, Cotto also looked good vs Pac, he did not looked drained in the fight, he was doing well until Pac hurt him. You know this.

The difference is Pac's power and angles, different fight.
