Despite his flaws, I think Wilder will unify

Yea I know, that's why I said he makes up for his flaws with his skills

He's a terrible "boxer" and seems to always be outboxed but when he starts windmilling tbh the only chance you have is to catch him before one lands. He can turn the fight round at any moment

I'm not saying AJ can't because in the Wlad fight he did randomly up the pressure before he was dropped, But he gassed because of it and that's where he's too vulnerable

And what exactly have I said wrong

People on here, myself included, hate Wilder. Its not easy to accept he's a serious threat to anyone despite his laughable resume. Power is power at the end of the day

He threw consistently around the 40 punch per round mark against Takam... Even with a busted nose... Wilder stands no chance against anyone in the top 5. He has one weapon (unproven against top competition) which will be taken away from him once he steps up.

I doubt it, since that means he'll have to beat either Joshua or Parker. Wilder won't fight any threat until he gets his cash-out fight against Joshua. Breazeale will be the highest Wilder will go and even that'll probably only happen if Breazeale got same instructions as Malik Scott.

Furthermore if either Joshua or Wilder ever fight Ortiz, Povetkin or Miller, trust me it'll be Joshua not Wilder.

Yeah he can turn a fight around with one punch but so can Joshua and Joshua has shown he can take a flush shot from a huge puncher and get back up and get the KO.

Wilder is dangerous but he has so many flaws. He struggled with Washington's jab for Christ sake and his jab is non existent, Washington paws with it or pushes it out, it has no snap. I see Joshua's heavy jab dictating things on the outside, with Wilder trying to box and move but falling short like he did vs Washington and AJ sitting back and waiting to catch and counter one of Wilder's wild shots.

Wilder only has a punchers chance. Maybe he can catch AJ coming in when AJ looks to finish him but Wilder isn't a great counter puncher, his KO's tend to come from him leading and unleashing a huge shot from the outside as his opponent is stationary. He'll need to catch AJ off guard when he isn't looking to catch and counter. It could happen, it happened with Wlad but putting AJ down is easier than keeping him down.

I dont think he has any intention of unifying. Hes a media friendly titlist, a product for casuals.

I have my doubts too. Wouldn't shock me at all if Wilder never steps in the ring with Joshua. He'll keep fighting stiffs for the WBC belt while Joshua unifies and dominates the division.

I agree completely, Think AJ will be outboxing him but if he even slows down for 1 round there's a chance the fight could end.

When/ If AJ gasses that's where Wilders chance of winning comes. If AJ can't finish him early he'll gave a nightmare middle few rounds

Joshua is gonna step in at 270 and be immobile because the big dummy thinks more muscles equals more power. The already massively quicker and more agile and bigger puncher Deontay makes quick work of the modern day Bruno. :sisi1

How do we know Wilder has better stamina? Because he went 12 rounds once? Boxing does not work like that, the Stiverne 1 fight was not high tempo at all.

Punching power is irrelavant in this match up. The ENTIRE match is who is the better boxer,bc both could K.O the other.

Joshua puts his punches together far better and has the superior style so thats why hes going to be heavily favored in the match, not to mention Joshua having better ring IQ ( he adjusts fast while Wilder does not) and much better corner men.

This is far from an even fight and those with two eyes would see that without even looking at them fight just look at the resumes..
