McCline has always had a rock hard chin and a lot of power early. Arreola answered both those in that he stopped McCline in only the 4th round, starting with a beautiful left uppercut, right hand, and in that he took McCline's best left hook flush a few times without being seriously hurt.

He definitely needs to shed at least 20 lbs, but his offensive game is excellent as well as his power, but i expected a much worse fight than what we saw.

    Which victory is more impressive?

Hayes 5 or 6 round victory over a shot chinny Barrett or Arreolas 4th round ko of a solid pro in McCline who is not chinny?

    Arreola every way.

    Haye is overated

McCline couldn't be bothered at all, you saw how he stayed down to wait out the count, even though it was no trobule getting up once he wanted too.

I was unimpressed by the fight and the fighters, though a win over McCline is good on paper... just so long as you didn't watch the fight.

like an article i read a little bit ago until his conditioning prohibits him in a negative way during a fight, you cant complain just because he isnt chiseled and rock hard like haye or the klitschkos. if he is comfortable at around 250 and feels good about the balance of stamina and power he has then let him roll with it. wlad is better now than when he was in the 220's arreola isnt a small man at all 6'4, and he has a very heavy frame and bone structure. and personally as someone who has shed alot of weight in the past im perfectly fine with how chris looked last night and am looking forward to him fighting someone like either of the klitschkos or david haye whoever he gets to first or in fact id love to see him fight the nigerian puff ball sam peter.

I agree Chris. He's an excellent body puncher.

On another note, I think McCline didn't fancy it, he pretty much quit. What i'm saying is, yeah, he was stopped but he could have gotten up. Just a thought.

Also, i don't think he is losing that 20lbs. I don't think that'll ever happen.

chris vs wlad, he may knock wlad out he may get knocked out but i think it would be interesting he would push wlad better than anyone wlad has been in with in quite a while

I thought it was a bit of a mix - Chris looked good offensively, with a variety of punches working well for him, kept up a good work rate despite the weight. Only problem was McCline, who clearly called it a day when he wasn't very hurt. Chris looked good but the KO4 result tells us McCline is done more than anything about Chris' power.
