BOXER Ricky Hatton was "over the moon" last night after the girl who stood by him through his booze and drugs hell revealed she is pregnant.

Fiancée Jenny Dooley, 31, is due to give birth in the summer. A pal of the Hitman - who was filmed last year seemingly snorting cocaine - said: "I haven't seen him this happy for ages."

The fighter, 32 - who has a son Campbell, ten, by a former girlfriend - said he was "excited" at the prospect of becoming a dad again just six months after a stint in rehab for booze and depression.

He said: "I'm looking forward to becoming a father again - and I'm excited that Jenny's going to become a mother. I think she'll make a great mum.

"She has been my rock and has stood through me during some difficult times."

The former world light welterweight champion hit a trough of despair after two high-profile defeats.

He was captured on video last September apparently snorting cocaine through a rolled-up banknote during a ten-hour booze bender.
