I have to say it's disgraceful that we have accused, and some have found guilty, a superstar in our sport. I understand that we all have a favourite fighter but to continue on with this bashing and having the media to contribute and stir the pot so to speak is really hurting "our" sport. If one of the top fighters in the sport - that has put boxing back on the front page, that has created so much positive attention to the sport is being attacked by baseless accusations - what message are we sending to up and comers in the sport? You can step in the ring and fight for us - for our entertainment but when it comes time to stickup for up you we'll just turn our backs and let you take the heat. It's time we become fans of boxing and protect our own - you don't see this happening in MMA, so why are we letting it happen here? Just had to vent...thanks

It's not so much the accusations as it is the erratic response to those accusations that leave me w/doubts regarding Pac's integrity...sorry...where there's smoke, there's usually fire...

That's certainly not the case actually, amongst casual fans the idea that Pac is on roids is now accepted, and the only people I can see still defending him on here are Manny Pac fans.

I'm not accusing him of anything, there's no evidence of it, but I certainly think it's odd that someone walked away from a multi-million dollar fight because they weren't comfortable with doing a random drugs test.

Serious questions have to be asked of Manny Pac at this point.

    Wrong.

If you think Pac hasn't put a suspicious in people's heads that wasn't there before, you're dreaming.

Hear, hear. Only a ******* would disagree with this statement! Pacquiao is throwing away $40 million over the chance of a blood test 14 days before the fight. Why? He is no fool, he must have something bigger to lose!

Using your logic, Floyd is throwing away $40 million because he can't agree to:

    1. Blood test during press con
    2. random blood test(s) up to 24 days before the fight
    3. blood test minutes after the fight
    4. unlimited random urine testing

Yes, all Pac has to do is spend a few hours to do the blood test. It's even easier for Floyd. All he has to do is spend a few seconds to say "24 days is OK" and he gets his $40 million. That's $10 million per word right there.

You are a clown. Idiots like you who hold an athlete above the sport are what is destroying the sport. You have suspended your logical reason to protect a cheat.

Nobody attacked The Juiceman with "baseless allegations". FMJ just said we will BOTH use Olympic style testing for the fight. The Juiceman said "Sure... No random tests... I am scared of needles... Giving blood weakens me... No fight!" Manny is a cheat. :deal

MMA doesn't go through this because they are in a league. If you argue you are unemployed. When boxing starts a league then compare the two.

Don't call me names - I never disrespected you or anyone, so use some manners when speaking with others.

All I'm saying is that we (some) are attacking someone when there is no proof. So then we must assume the methods the sport of boxing uses to test for illegal substances has been substandard or non existent for all these years...
Must boxing initiate Olympic style testing from now on to ensure no fighter will get away with using performance enhancing substances?

Some Floyd fans feel that name calling and disrespecting others enhance their arguments. Just be patient with them.

Bad thing about this is atlas picked pac over floyd so atleast we know theres somebody out there with an unbiased opinion. If your clean show your clean.

Cop pull you over on suspicion of drunk driving he makes you take a test if you dont he locks you up

The proof is Pacquiao's ******ed excuses that anyone can see are false. We know that boxing tests are worthless and they always have been. Giving Pacquiao a pass because he's a superstar is also dumb. A fighter should never get a pass because he's a superstar. Mayweather gets crapped on all the time, mostly for things he never even did and he's also a superstar right? How come Mayweather doesn't get a pass?

I don't see the part where Pac is using ******ed excuses. He agreed to subject himself to a very stringent testing schedule that is far above and beyond what is required by NSAC:

    1. Blood test during press con
    2. random blood test(s) up to 24 days before the fight
    3. blood test minutes after the fight
    4. unlimited random urine testing
