ONLY for the show in question. Advertisement revenue are for a specific timeblock. NBC can't use advertiser revenue from a morning block, that a sponsor specifically paid for, for something in the evening. That means Haymon has to get sponsors for his NBC timeblock, otherwise the only commercials will be local advertising that he will get absolutely nothing for. And he WILL need sponsors, because he PAID for that timeblock. Do you think promotors PAY HBO or Showtime for boxing events? No, it's the other way around. HBO and Showtime have boxing budgets dedicated specifically for these events. That means that just because of live TV, his fighters aren't going to get alot of money because it's coming out of Haymon's own pocket. He's probably banking on large sponsorships to recoup costs, but I doubt he'll get anywhere the amount Showtime was giving him.
Okay. Well, here a promoter can't promote both fighter in a fight. Fighter are promoted by gym and gym fighter can't fight same gym fighter. Very different to US but it make promoter work together.
