Nice try. Kwame might have hurt the city in some ways, but if not for him and some of his anti-gentrification policies, Detroit would be in worse shape than it is now. And the problems from Detroit stem from WAAAAAAY more than local politics. Detroit is the victim of international economic forces. Any city, whose industry's assinine decisions causes it to lose 130,000 jobs in 8 years is gonna be in a lot worse shape than that.
