All the big guns are out this week - Company Nelson was even on the interview panel after the press conference. Guess that shows Sky are doing their own show this week rather than just taking the feed?

 

Yes, Sky Sports is doing their own production and that makes me incredibly happy.

Definitely prefer Sky over DAZN´s team.

Have to say I’ve never been high on him personally, nothing actually against him I’m sure he’s a sound fella but I find him very smug/cringe and just generally irratating

 

A proper boxing expert. Knows more than the people on the forum who slate him. After all, he's living the dream. I bow to his greater knowledge but it seems like others are unable to do so. There's a reason he's working in the sport and we are just commenting. It's because he knows more about boxing, shock horror.

Na, there are plenty of people working in the industry who know how to play the politics and have a great work ethic. Doesn't necessarily mean they know more about the sport; the two don't always go hand in hand. I'm not saying Dev is one of those people; I don't actually know much about him, but look at the likes of Bellew. His analysis is absolutely woeful compared to someone like David Price, even though he fought at a much higher level. Being a company man always pays.

 

That’s not how the world works haha. If it did it would run better.

Nope. But I’m saying your point that Dev being in his position means that he is the oracle of boxing is reaching. It’s most likely he’s positioned himself in the right circles and picked enough ring to get there.

Not too sure how you came to that conclusion based on what I said, I said I don't even know that much about him, but I've been around enough people and their bull**** to understand that those at the top are often the best "game players" and not necessarily standouts in their chosen field.
