Don’t know and really I don’t care so long as they make the fight weight at the weigh in. Garcia cheated to win and Team Haney dropped the ball focussing on the money.

No, he fought bravely and never gave up. He had lots of success in the fight. He has things to work on but I still think he's a solid boxer and can still beat top guys at 140

 

Haney shouldn’t retire, he’s young and athletic. He’s got feather fists and I’m not surprised he got his ass kicked last night. He finally faced a guy HIS OWN SIZE. Haney has enjoyed a massive size advantage in every fight and still couldn’t knock guys out. He lost to Loma and was gifted a win but that wasn’t going to happen last night. Garcia is a headcase but he’s got power and speed and made it look easy.

I’m glad to see Haney exposed, it was bound to happen eventually. I think he chose Garcia because he expected flaky Ryan to show up. If Garcia can control his mental illness, and dedicate himself to boxing, he has the skill to be a champion. Not saying he will do it because it’s a big IF but anything is possible. Seeing Haney get what he deserved made me a fan of Garcia. At least for now. Hilarious!

 

Matias beats him worse than Dadashev. That style is all wrong for Devin. Especially with how much Devin clinches, unlike Ryan, Matias will execute Haney and won't give the refs a chance to break up the clinch without Matias sneaking in a 6-8 hit combo with his short arm punches. Matias never drained and always strong at 140 and he's too high volume for Devin who generally likes to pick his shots. Matias TKO 7.

Haney beats Teo however.

 

We don't need toxic so called boxing fans like you one loss and you throwing rocks at this man. You the reason boxers are ducking the big fights fickle fans like you ready to throw rocks like nothing.

Agreed 100%. Always thought Matias would give Haney a pasting but I still think Devin would school Teo. Those two have been grossly overrated for a while now.

The evidence seems to point to his only 'elite' attribute being weight draining. Being able to put 25 pounds on overnight without a discernible effect on your performance is definitely special.

But that's starting to fade now he's in his mid-twenties - it's a very young man's game.

He'll probably have to adjust expectations and drop down a level or two if he starts fighting guys nearer his own size.
